Beach-nesting Bird Report 2017

It was an eventful 2017 breeding season for our local Byron Shire beach-nesting birds. Our long time Pied Oystercatcher at Belongil lost a foot to fishing line, eggs were lost and if they did hatch some chicks were also lost.
