Last year, from our monitoring results, we have determined that bird diversity at Byron Wetlands and Vallances Road sites are generally consistent with the previous year’s results and from the breeding grounds of the Belongil and Brunswick Estuaries one beach Stone‐curlew and seven Pied Oystercatcher

BBB conducted 19 guided walks, presented 16 talks across the region, conducted and/or participated in 21 monitoring events and participated in the development of 2 nature programs for broadcasting. We also facilitated the development of bird information brochure for Tweed Shire now to be produced
